Professional career:
  • From 1993 to 2001, assistant to Prof. Wiesław Jakubowski in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging, IInd Faculty, Warsaw Medical Academy in Warsaw. During this period, I trained in nuclear medicine, musculoskeletal MRI, knee ultrasound (Dr. Małgorzata Serafin-Król), and abdominal and neck ultrasound.
  • From 1995 to 2000, assistant at the ultrasound department of the Central Sports Medicine Center at Wawelska Street in Warsaw, performing ultrasound examinations of the musculoskeletal system.
  • From 2000 to 2006, I was the head of the diagnostic imaging laboratory at Sport Medica S.A., Warsaw. Diagnostics in the field of ultrasound and MRI of the musculoskeletal system. Since 2004, I have been working there as a collaborator in a private medical practice.
  • Since January 2007 – Private practice, mainly at the High-Med clinic, Jana Kasprowicza 27 lok.2, 01-817 Warsaw.

Teaching and research activity:
    In 1998-2003, lecturer at the Second Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Warsaw, where I gave lectures to students on musculoskeletal scintigraphy.
  • Since 1999, lecturer at training courses on musculoskeletal ultrasound organized by the Polish Society of Ultrasonography.
  • In 2000-2002, I was the manager of a research grant awarded by the Scientific Research Committee (grant no. KBN 4 P05E 102 18). The project is entitled: “Evaluation of the usefulness of ultrasound examination using Color and Power Doppler techniques in the examination of hemophilic arthropathy of the knee joint and monitoring its treatment in children.” The research work within this project was carried out at two academic centers: the Department of Ultrasound Diagnostics of the Second Faculty of Medicine of the Warsaw Medical Academy (head: Prof. Wiesław Jakubowski) and the Department and Clinic of Pediatrics, Hematology, and Oncology of the First Faculty of Medicine of the Warsaw Medical Academy (head: Prof. Roma Rokicka-Milewska).
